Watchdog for system monitoring
To ensure safety in meter testing, we rely on the integration of a watchdog. This regularly queries the components of the test system. If the watchdog receives no Upon receiving feedback from the system, it activates the emergency stop loop and shuts down the entire system. This prevents the meter from being subjected to excessive currents for an excessively long period and potentially being damaged. The watchdog is used in our AC and DC meter testing systems for use.
Prerequisites for integration are:
– current WinSAM
– Warning light (red and green)
– Two-channel emergency stop
