Presentation of the latest technologies, solutions and business models for a sustainable mobility world
Latest technologies: This refers to the most advanced technical developments used in vehicles, charging stations, battery technologies and other aspects of electric mobility. For example, technologies to improve battery performance or innovative charging systems such as inductive charging could be presented.
Solutions: This includes practical applications of the technologies that address specific problems or needs. This can include the integration of electric mobility into existing transport networks, solutions for more efficient energy management and systems to optimize the charging process.
Business models: These refer to the economic and organizational framework conditions under which new technologies and solutions are commercialized. New business models could include, for example, billing models for public charging stations, car-sharing offers with electric vehicles or services related to electromobility.
The combination of these three elements aims to create a „sustainable mobility world“, i.e. a system that minimizes environmental impact, uses resources efficiently and offers long-term viable solutions for society’s needs. Exhibitions such as Power2Drive Europe provide a platform where stakeholders from different sectors can come together to explore and share these technologies, solutions and business models and form partnerships to help accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility.

Innovative charging solutions, such as bidirectional charging technologies and the combination of solar energy and electromobility
Innovative charging solutions, in particular bi-directional charging technologies and the integration of solar energy into electric mobility, are key components for a more sustainable mobility world. Here is a detailed look at both technologies:
Bidirectional charging technologies (vehicle-to-grid and vehicle-to-home)
Bidirectional charging technologies enable electric vehicles not only to draw energy from the power grid, but also to feed it back into the grid. This technology is often referred to as vehicle-to-grid (V2G) or vehicle-to-home (V2H), depending on whether the energy is fed into the public grid or the home grid.
Vehicle-to-grid (V2G)
V2G systems allow electric vehicles to be used as temporary energy storage units. At times of low demand, electric cars can be charged, and at peak load times, the stored energy can be fed back into the grid to reduce the load on the power grid and avoid power outages.
Vehicle-to-Home (V2H)
V2H technologies make it possible to use the energy stored in the batteries of electric vehicles to power the home. This can be particularly useful during power outages or peak load times to save energy costs.
Combination of solar energy and electromobility
The combination of solar energy and electromobility is an attractive solution for meeting the energy requirements of electric vehicles with renewable sources and thus further reducing CO2 emissions.
Solar energy as a power source for electric cars: Photovoltaic systems on buildings or integrated into the infrastructure of charging stations can directly supply electricity for charging electric vehicles. This solution makes charging less dependent on the traditional power grid and promotes the use of renewable energies.
Integration into smart grids: By combining solar energy and intelligent charging technology, charging processes can be optimized. For example, electric vehicles can be charged primarily when solar radiation is at its strongest, which increases the efficiency of the overall system.
These technologies are not only important for reducing environmental pollution, but are also economically attractive as they can reduce energy costs and increase energy independence. Power2Drive Europe and similar events provide platforms where these advanced solutions can be presented, discussed and further developed.
